United - Derby Glory

A late winner from Paul Scholes left the red side of Manchester singing when the final whistle blew this saturday at the Eastlands. The United veteran headed in a goal in the 92nd minute with only 17 seconds to play. This is the third time we've beat Manchester City in added time and its been pretty brutal. It almost makes me feel bad (who am I kidding, it was AWESOME). Not only was yesterday a great day because of the win for United but also because Chelsea lost to Tottenham at White Hart Lane. Another good sign for United fans is that John Terry got sent off which means the 3 match ban will keep him out of their away game at liverpool. Of colurse the hope is that Chelsea will drop points there and we can retain top spot again.
The game wasn't loaded with chances as you would expect from a derby, but United had the upper hand for most of the game. They created the better opportunities and even though city had their chances in the second half the winner from Paul Scholes settled it for once and for all. United have done the double over city and we knocked them out of the Carling Cup so i think its pretty clear who the dominant side in Manchester is. Here are some pics from Man Utd v Man City:
