Behind the Scenes - Nike Music Shoe Video

I posted a commercial that nike released featuring two Japanese Dj's playing a sick beat with shoes a couple weeks ago. We now get a sneak behind the scenes into how the video was made and how they experimented with the concept of creating music with shoes. I didn't actually think they were dj'ing for real and so this behind the scenes video was quite an eye opener for me. The shoes were lined with sensors that helped the create different sounds and they developed a software for it as well. Heres the video:

Its about time that i put some of my own work up on here so I've decided to showcase more of my photography. On Monday night a huge guestlist of stars graced the red carpet for the world premier of Iron Man 2. The list included Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickry Rourke and Scarlett Johansson. Even Hugh Hefner showed up for the premier at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

The trailer looks crazy but i have to admit i haven't even seen the first movie yet. The movie is set to release on the 30th of april in the UK. Here are some pics from the premier on monday.

Avatar Sequel

More information has been given about Avatar's sequel, the huge hit that took 3d movies to the next level is close to the release of their 2nd film. James Cameron spoke to L.A. Times and shared more details on the up coming sequel thats set to release in august.

The booming franchise is already set to release a sequel and 'threequel' apparently, which basically means it wont be long before fans can watch the entire Avatar trilogy. The most exciting aspect for me was that Cameron said the sequel will explore the underwater portion of Pandora and that we will get to see even more of the rain forests as seen in the first film. The CG was the most exciting part for me because the story line wasn't all that exciting. It definitely was the first time I had seen anything like that in terms of graphics.
More importantly when asked about it the academy award winner said "And I'm going to be focusing on the ocean on Pandora, which will be equally rich and diverse and crazy and imaginative, but it just won't be a rain forest. I'm not saying we won't see what we've already seen; we'll see more of that as well."
Here is an interview with the director where he talks about his collective inspirations and more about the sequel. He also reveals working on developing a better script so that the next film will be even better.

Louis Vuitton bringing Legends together

Louis Vuitton have released a great commercial right before the World Cup starring 3 footballing legends, Pele, Maradona and Zindane. The commercial features Pele and Zidane playing a game of foosball while Maradona talks directly to the camera. They also got Annie Leibovitz to do the photography for this campaign. She has done work for Rolling Stones magazine and her work has been featured in galleries all over the world. Anyway, the entire campaign has a great look and there's definitely some great bags in the back ground. Enjoy

Chivalrous Culture

Chivalrous Culture is a clothing line started by Diggy Simmons, the son of Joseph Simmons who co-founded Run-DMC. I haven't actually seen too much of the clothing line but he posted a bunch of pictures of the kicks he's about to launch. They are fly and the logo looks really nice as well. The shoe comes in a white, black, grey and a dark red or maroon. Here are some pics:

UNITED- The Title race is'nt over yet!

Another fantastic second half performance put United back on top of the Premier League and with only two games left the title race seems to getting more and more interesting every week. The first half lacked chances and Tottenham controlled most of the opening play. Even after half an hour of the game gone, it lacked a shot on target. Nani and Valencia were the brightest sparks for United in the opening half and Nani went on to score the crucial goal. Giggs started the scoring off with a neatly taken penalty after Evra was brought down by Assou Ekotto. Ledley King's equaliser shocked the Old Trafford faithful and noise level dropped significantly until Nani pulled a piece of brilliance out of the bag. 2 Giggs penalties along with Nani's great chip sealed the deal for United in another great week. The pressure is on Chelsea to beat Stoke at home tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I'l be glued to the TV watching that one as well. Other interesting fixtures included Arsenal and Man City who drew a blank at the Emirates even with the 8 minutes added on which was the only part of the game that I got to see. Anyway here are some pictures from the weekend's games so far:
